Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS prevention and education. The proceeds from the film was donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is a Member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has been involved in numerous fundraising initiatives in support of the condition and presented testimony before a Congressional Special Committee regarding AIDS Education. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and on the Board of Governors of APLA. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has been asked to substitute for him during AIDS events and she has been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special together with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to appear twice on Nightline in relation to AIDS. Morgan was awarded the Emmy Award in Diane English's exclusive Murphy Brown episode that was written just for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on ABC Television's Your Money or Your Wife in springtime alongside Joan Rivers. Her summer started by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner and included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Her next project brought her to Luxembourg for Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady which also starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also appeared in the psycho thriller made by USA Network. The film garnered one of its most impressive ratings to date.
